A Word on Passwords

Every poor schlub who’s ever had to create any kind of account online has been confronted by demands that passwords contain “capital and lower-case letters, numbers, at least one special symbol, three randomly-placed spaces, and your mother’s maiden name in Farsi, etc…” Don’t you hate that?

There’s good news! Outside of your company’s system possibly requiring that nonsense, there’s no good reason to complicate your passwords like that. Your passwords can be simple and easy to remember, without being complex — because the important thing is the length, not the characters.
